14 of the best Christian podcasts for men to challenge and equip.
There is a plethora of Christian podcasts out there these days. Unfortunately very few of them are centered around the gospel and very few of them are geared towards men. Over the past year I’ve come to appreciate a few new podcasters and realized that some of my favorite authors and pastors also have a weekly show. I’d like to share a few of my favorites with you in hopes that they will encourage you to faithfully pursue your Savior.
I believe each of these Christian podcasts for men to be theologically sound, but always encourage you to dig into Scripture for yourself to make sure their words line up with our ultimate authority, God’s Word. I’d encourage you to check them out the next time you’re driving to work, hitting the gym, or working on a project!

Christian Podcasts For Men
One of the things I love most about blogging is the opportunity to share biblically solid resources with you all! The specific Christian podcasts for men listed below are each unique in nature with one common mission- to make Christ the center of it all. From pastors and apologists to laymen, parents, and a rock singer… this group of men has something to offer everyone.
(And ladies, just because each of these are hosted by men doesn’t mean that we can’t benefit from them too! I’ve greatly benefited from each of these ministries and believe them to be a blessing to both men and women.)
Without further ado here are some of the best men’s Christian podcasts for 2022!
Apologetics Podcasts
We are living in a day and age where it’s vital for us, as believers, to know what we believe and why. Each of these apologetics podcasts does a wonderful job asking and answering those tough questions to provide a firm foundation in the faith.
Cold Case Christianity
J. Warner Wallace was a staunch atheist until he began using his homicide detective skills to investigate the reliability of the Bible and Christianity at the age of 35. The hard core facts and evidence of the Christian faith won him over and he now spends his time writing and speaking to the skeptics and seekers in hopes that they will come to a saving faith as well. His books and podcast focus on providing evidence for Christianity and many other apologetics topics.
I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist
Dr. Frank Turek is president of CrossExamined.org, an apologetics ministry aimed at communicating the truth of the gospel to America’s youth. Statistics state the 3 out of 4 students will walk away from the faith once they enter college. Frank and his team have a heart to reach these young people with solid evidenced based answers in response to their struggles and doubts. His podcast seeks to equip believers to defend their faith and answer life’s tough questions.
Stand To Reason
I first heard of best-selling author and speaker Greg Koukl when I picked up a copy of Tactics: A Game Plan For Discussing Your Christian Convictions a few years back. His book, which explains ways to transition everyday conversations into gospel conversations, was a refreshing read and reminder of the privilege we have to share the hope of Christ with the lost and dying world around us.
Koukl founded Stand To Reason in 1993 for the purpose of encouraging others to genuinely think about what truly matters most in life. STR’s tagline “Clear-Thinking Christianity” aims at equipping believers with the tools they need to defend the faith with confidence, courage, and grace. Greg and his team offer multiple podcast episodes each week on relevant topics regarding the Christian faith, apologetics, and cultural events.
Bible Teaching Podcasts
There are certain people who are gifted communicators. Both of these Bible teaching podcasts below are hosted by men with a genuine desire to place Christ above all and share of His goodness with the world around them.
Bible Thinker
I was originally introduced to Mike Winger of the Bible Thinker Podcast while watching the American Gospel documentary. His biblical wisdom and humility immediately drew me in. I’ve since thoroughly enjoyed listening to his weekly podcast and am grateful for his gospel-centeredness, honesty, and compassion in a world of “politically correctness”.
Just Thinking
The Just Thinking Podcast is a newer one for me, but I’ve certainly been edified by the words of Darrell Harrison and Virgil Walker! Their wisdom regarding theology and cultural issues is spot on and a refreshing listen. Give this one a try and you will quickly appreciate the brotherly interaction of these two men as well as their sense of humor and straightforwardness.
Christian Parenting & Marriage Podcasts
I will always admire those who humbly share their own struggles in an effort to better explain God’s goodness and grace on a particular topic. The men and women below seek to point us to Scripture while approaching the subjects of parenting and marriage.
Dad Tired
Jared Lopes began Dad Tired back in 2019 after writing a viral blog post about his desire to remedy his failures as a husband and father. His raw honesty resonated with many other men. There are very few resources out there for young fathers trying to lead their families well, which is why I appreciate this particular podcast all the more. I truly admire Jared’s humility as he shares what God is teaching him through his own limitations, flaws, and convictions to build up the heart of brothers around him.
Courageous Parenting
Isaac and Angie Tolpin faithfully share Scripture through their Christian parenting podcast, Courageous Parenting, to convict and encourage us to become the parents God has called us to be. They truly have a heart for families, specifically for impacting families to courageously take a stand for what is right while living in our cancel culture society. As parents we must model Christ-likeness, verbally speak the truths of God’s Word into our children’s hearts, and think biblically.
Fierce Marriage
If you’re looking for one of the best Christian podcasts on Spotify check out the Fierce Marriage Podcast with hosts Ryan and Selena Frederick. They’re a sweet couple with a simple desire to encourage others to fiercely fight for and protect their marriages. The Frederick’s do not shy away from sound bible doctrine, yet share it in such a genuine and refreshing manor. Whether speaking on marriage topics or family issues they consistently make a point to center it all around their Savior.
Best Sermon Podcasts
Although it is becoming more difficult to find biblically solid well-known pastors and teachers they do still exist. I am grateful for the ministries of each of the men below.
Truth For Life
Alistair Begg is an amazing pastor and communicator. His gentle yet truth filled preaching has a way of encouraging and convicting all at the same time. My husband and I had the privilege to sit under his preaching in person last fall and all I can say is that his congregation is truly blessed to have such a faithful man of God sharing solid truth week after week.
Renewing Your Mind
Beloved pastor, author, and founder of Ligonier Ministries, R.C. Sproul (1939-2017) faithfully shared the truths of God’s Word for multiple decades. Although he now calls Heaven home we are blessed to have the ability to listen to his preaching through the Renewing Your Mind Podcast which offers daily nuggets of wisdom. Dr. Sproul was a rare treasure whose love for his Savior was clearly the driving force behind all that he did.
Grace To You
Well-known pastor and author John MacArthur has a gift for studying and communicating God’s Word. His unwavering convictions are a breath of fresh air in a day and age of “deconstruction”. The Grace to You broadcast is a daily radio program made up of sermons of Dr. MacArthur’s 50 year ministry. You can also find all of his 3,000+ sermons available on the website. Give Grace To You a listen and you will be blessed by his words of wisdom.

Christian Podcasts For Men – Christian Life
Each of these Christian podcasts for men below are a bit different and don’t fall under any particular category. However, they are full of truth and encouragement and incredibly helpful in navigating life’s struggles and trials.
Forgotten Podcast
Far from your traditional Christian podcast, the Forgotten Podcast focuses on sharing the true stories of devoted believers throughout history and God’s divine hand in challenging circumstances.
Hearing the story of Eric Liddell (think Chariots of Fire) convicted me to the core and opened my eyes to the commitment and sacrifices of these faithful Christians. I truly appreciate Ronnie Brown’s desire to make their stories known.
Cooper Stuff
Cooper Stuff may be a little less “polished” than your typical Christian podcast for men, but John Cooper of Skillet truly has a heart for the gospel and desire to share truth no matter the cost. I admire him for his boldness to stand up for his faith in this ever wavering culture and believe that God has given him his position of influence to speak truth to those who may never otherwise hear. His podcast is a mixture of current events, politics, and Christian life topics.
The Covenant Eyes Podcast
Covenant Eyes (best known for their accountability apps) has been helping men, women, and families in the fight against porn for more than two decades. They recently launched a podcast with the intent of informing listeners of the latest research, providing valuable resources, and interviewing special guests in a variety of professional fields to weigh in with their expertise.
Whether or not you’re seeking accountability for yourself or ways to help protect your family from this prevalent struggle, here you will find solid resources to help.

Where Can I Get Christian Podcasts?
If you’re newer to podcasts and wondering how to best access them, you can start by going to each podcasters individual website. Each site has episodes listed while many of them also provide video content to go along with the audio on YouTube. Most of these men’s Christian podcasts are also available on ApplePodcasts and Spotify all free of charge.
I have learned the value of listening to biblically solid content here and there to help keep my focus where it needs to be throughout the day. Sometimes just knowing that there are still firmly rooted brothers and sisters out there can be a tremendous encouragement to our hearts. I sincerely hope that you’re able to give some of these Christian podcasts for men (and ladies!) a listen as you have the time.
Let’s be faithful to stay in God’s Word, seek Him in prayer, and fill our minds with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8).

I wanted to share with you a power of prayer story. On August 3rd this past year my wife (Robin) suffered a brain aneurysm, while in the ER she fell into a coma and was flown by helicopter 62 mile away. Driving there I received a phone call that said “We are in a fatal situation and are doing everything we can to keep your wife alive on the OR table.” I still had about a 45 minute drive, something or should I say someone (Holy Spirit) rose up on the inside of me and this authority came over me and I said out loud “In the name of Jesus I command the spirit of death to leave that OR room now.” Through prayer and the grace of God my wife survived, the surgeon said they go by a severity chart of 1-5 with 5 being the most severe. He said your wife was at the top of a 5. The next day one of the team members came in and said “That lady should not be lying there it was that bad. It truly is a miracle.” She spent the next 42 days in hospitals, 23 in ICU on and off life support in and out of comas. I did not sit at my wife’s bedside begging, pleading making deals with God I sat as a son co-laboring, partnering with my Father calling those things that be not as if there are. I watched with my own eyes my wife go from death to life. I saw miracle after miracle take place in her body. I watched but God moments, the suddenly of God take place in her throughout her journey. November 7th she went back to work part time even drove herself and on December 1st she went back full time. I am so proud of my wife she never bellyache, woe is me, why did God allow this to happen to me. Her faith grew stronger and became more resolved. Not only is she my wife, companion but she is my best friend and I am honored to be her husband. So we know the power of prayer. Thank you for reading this email may it encourage, and lifted you and stirred your faith to believe in the supernatural miraculous intervention of God. May God bless your ministry!!!
