About Me
Hi there! I’m Tabatha and I’m so grateful you stopped by. I am a homeschool mom of two sweet kiddos (and one loveable Pitbull named Lucy Mae) just trying to stay focused on what truly matters in life. I married my best friend 14 years ago and together we’ve weathered many storms we never imagined facing.
What began primarily as a Healthy Living blog back in 2019 quickly shifted as I realized that through the blessing of this creative outlet, God had also provided an opportunity for me to share a reason for the hope that lies within me (I Peter 3:15). Not too far into this blogging journey, my husband, daughter, son, and I embarked on yet another journey—the journey of becoming a special needs family.

My son’s initial diagnoses several years ago caught my husband and I off guard to say the least. We went through all of the normal stages of grief, and honestly still cycle through intense seasons of despair as we battle daily challenges. It is because of these very difficulties, however, that we’ve gained a profound sense of hope and a longing for eternity. God continues to graciously use our struggles to not only stretch and grow us, but to reveal the depth of His love and unending grace.
All of that to say: God’s design for the family is truly a beautiful gift. I have developed a passion for not only nourishing my own family, but also for encouraging other parents to wholeheartedly pursue Christ as they seek to love and lead their children well.
A few facts about me:
- In my spare time, I enjoy curling up with my dog and a good book, strength training, getting creative in the kitchen, and watching a wholesome movie.
- I have fallen in love with hiking over the years and the opportunities it provides to explore God’s incredible creation and foster connection with my husband and children.
- Although feminine florals and ruffles are staples in my wardrobe, I seem to have also developed an affinity for sweatshirts and have a mini collection on rotation nearly every month of the year.
- The older I get, the more I appreciate the transition into autumn each year. The vibrant colors and beauty of the season always turn my thoughts towards Heaven. If something dying can hold such beauty in this fallen world, I can only imagine the glories that await us in eternity.
- My husband can tell what kind of day I’ve had based on my playlist while cooking.
- I think peanut butter is amazing.
Thank you for taking a moment of your day to learn a bit about my blessed and chaotic little world.
May you find hope while you’re here.
Joyfully,
Tabatha
