Iāve realized over the past 10 years of motherhood the importance of constantly filling my mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8 ESV). One way Iāve learned to do this is by listening to Biblically solid podcasts for Christian moms throughout the week.
Prior to becoming a parent I was oblivious as to how busy life could become. Or even how busy and jumbled my thoughts could become for that matter.
This season of busyness has taught me many valuable truths about myself and my faith. Primarily, it has taught me that if Iām not faithful to continually seek God through prayer, praise, and reading and studying His word, I will inevitably fall away from Him.
There is no such thing as āmiddle groundā when it comes to our faith walk. Weāre either drawing closer to our Savior, or steadily drifting away from Him.
If youāve been a mom for more than 5 minutes youāre already keenly aware of the limited amount of time weāre given in a day to successfully take care of our responsibilities. For many of us believers, one of the easiest things to leave out is time spent with our Savior. We donāt do this intentionally, more so out of exhaustion. However, the end result is still the same.
Less of my Savior means more hurried frustration, impatience, fatigue, and stress. More of Him equals more grace, comfort, peace, trust, and rest.
Why Listen To Podcasts For Christian Moms?
I am learning to be more intentional than ever in my time spent reading Scripture and praying for all that weighs heavy on my heart each day. Iām learning that when a heart is firmly fixed on Jesus those burdens we so often carry around with us begin to slowly disappear.
And I have recently learned the value of listening to encouraging podcasts for Christian moms to help draw my thoughts back where they need to be throughout the day.
Stay Focused On God
We are living in a day in age where the culture around us, as a whole, is no longer in favor of living a life that will honor God. In fact, our media, schools, news sources, and entertainment are becoming increasingly anti God.
When all that is around us seems to be pulling us away from a firm foundation in our faith, we must be even more determined to stay grounded in truth and connected to our Source of Hope.
A quick break in the middle of the day to reflect on Godās Word or listen to otherās share what theyāre learning from Scripture through a Christian podcast for women can be a wonderful way to refocus our thoughts upon our Savior. This pause in the day can help us take a breather, and finish the rest of the day with a little extra patience and grace.
Encouragement and Edification
Although Iām not a huge fan of technology in general, Iām grateful for the opportunities we have to get connected to solid online resources that can encourage, challenge, and convict us in order to grow our faith. Each of these people and Christian podcasts below have done just that in my own life.
We may not have a ton of extra time to sit down and thoroughly listen to these, but we can easily start one while folding laundry, doing the dishes, cleaning the bathroom, or getting a workout in.
Iād like to encourage you to give them a try while also remaining faithful to spend time in Godās Word and prayer each day. It is vital that we know the Bible for ourselves so we can know when weāre being deceived or led astray.

15 Encouraging Podcasts For Christian Moms
Below are 15 of my favorite podcasts for Christian moms. Each of these are unique in nature, but consistently point their listeners straight to Godās Word. They can be found on their individual websites, and the majority of them can also be found via Spotify and iTunes.
Apologetics Podcasts for Christian Moms
Each of these apologetics podcasts for Christian moms below will help give you the tools needed to stand firm in the faith and provide evidence for your beliefs.
Mama Bear Apologetics
The Mama Bear Apologetics ministry began as a way of educating parents with current cultural trends, influences, and deceptions that are leading an alarmingly high rate of our youth away from the church. The ladies behind MBA eventually collaborated on a book with the same mission, and a podcast was birthed as well.
The idea behind this podcast for Christian moms is to share apologetics in a way that makes sense in order for us as parents to equip our children with solid Biblical truths to fight off the lies of the culture.
Our children are bombarded with more negativity, confusion, and deception than we ever were 20-30 years ago. It is up to us to teach and train them Biblically, but also help them decipher truth from deception in an increasingly secular society.
The hosts Hilary Morgan Ferrer and Amy Davidson do a wonderful job sharing truth in a conversation like way that makes it easy to listen to and grasp while double tasking (as all busy moms do š ).
The Alisa Childers Podcast
Alisa Childers was a CCM recording artist in the early 2000s before she began questioning her faith, propelling her on a search for answers. Her in depth research and sincere desire to find truth resulted in a firm foundation that she now desires to share with others.
Through the use of apologetics she provides clear cut evidence for Godās existence and the validity of the Bible in a thought provoking manor. Alisaās interviews focus on revealing the truth behind the progressive Christianity movement as well as a host of other relevant topics in the church today.
The Natasha Crain Podcast
The Natasha Crain Podcast seeks to inform and equip parents as they shepherd the hearts of their children while navigating the cultural chaos of the 21st century.
She continually reminds the listener that not only are we called to love and lead our children by pouring in Scriptural truths, we must also faithfully answer their questions and share with them facts and evidence to back up their faith.
Christianity is not a blind faith and we must be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within us (1 Peter 3:15-16).
Unshaken Faith Podcast
Apologists Alisa Childers and Natasha Crain teamed up to start the Unshaken Faith Podcast with a mission of encouraging believers to boldly yet compassionately stand up for their faith and lovingly share the hope of Christ with a world in desperate need of a Savior.
The Melissa Daugherty Podcast
Melissa came to Christ as a teenager, but adopted many new age beliefs in the process because of a lack of biblical literacy. The Melissa Daugherty Podcast encourages others to dig in and study the Bible, while also revealing the deception of many false beliefs and practices.
Through gracious words and a heart for people she beautifully communicates theological truths for seasoned Christians and skeptics alike.

Risen Motherhood- Christian Mom Podcast
You may not often think of the gospel as being woven into the repetitive and mundane tasks of motherhood, but Risen Motherhood hosts Emily Jensen and Laura Wifler are here to remind us that it can be. And it should be.
Our days of cleaning messes, cooking meals, and consistent correction and discipline can be draining to say the least. We become tired, overwhelmed, and are far from perfect.
But, Friend, hereās what we often forget- the forgiveness and grace Christ extends to us donāt end at salvation. The same gentle rebukes and forgiveness that we first received the moment we came to Christ continue our entire lifetime including during the messy years of parenting.
Risen motherhood is another solid podcast for Christian moms, and is well worth your time if youāre in need of some encouragement along the parenting journey. Emily and Laura also wrote a book by the same title if youāre looking for a new read!

Gateway To Joy is the radio program she hosted on the Bible Broadcasting Network for more than a decade from 1988-2001. Through this program Elisabeth offered words of wisdom on a multitude of topics ranging from motherhood to marriage, discipleship, and worship.
