6 Free printable Bible verses to decorate your home and help you see the beauty of memorzing God’s Word.
I began to see the value of memorizing Scripture shortly after coming to Christ as a teenager. Many of the verses that still pop up in my mind were those that I purposefully memorized nearly twenty years ago.
It really is incredible to be able to hide Godās Word in our hearts for when we need it most. Whether weāre struggling with anxiety, fear, stress, feelings of failure, or even celebrating a victory in life there are a myriad of Bible verses that can bring encouragement and comfort.
Printable Bible Verses to Memorize
Iām not near as disciplined in this area as I once was and truly desire to get back in the habit of memorizing Bible verses more frequently. These handy free Bible verse printables are a way to help!
For some reason mom life seems to leave my brain in a fog most days which makes storing up verses a bit more difficult than it used to be. However, I need the encouragement and reminders of Godās Word now more than ever.
As much as I adore my children and couldnāt possibly love them more, these days of loving, nurturing, teaching, guiding, correcting, and disciplining can easily leave me drained and in need of encouragement.
What Are The Most Powerful Bible Verses?
If you are new to memorizing Scripture you may be wondering where to start. Obviously different verses will have varying impacts on each of us. Depending on our current trials and circumstances some will be more powerful than others.
However, I believe that some of the most powerful Bible verses in all of Scripture are those that directly remind us of God’s character- His incredible goodness, mercy, grace, holiness, and righteousness that we come no where near deserving. When we’re able to truly focus on our Savior and take our eyes off of ourselves is when we can begin to understand the depth of our sin and the depth of love our Creator holds for us.
Free Printable Bible Verses For Encouragement
I think of these free printable Bible verses as little reminders to help keep my heart fixed on my Savior. Iāve learned throughout my 20 years of following Christ that if Iām not intentional in spending that time in prayer and Bible reading it simply wonāt happen. Life gets busy. And Momma gets tired!
A quick glance at a specific verse in the midst of a busy day can help me refocus my thoughts and shift my heart where it needs to be- back on my Savior instead of my messy or unfavorable circumstances.
Each of these 6 Bible verses are ones that I memorized when I was younger. They bring me hope and remind me of Godās incredible goodness that I come nowhere near deserving.
Taking a few moments here and there throughout the day to simply say a prayer of gratitude, talk with my children about Godās faithfulness in answering prayer, or read a verse or passage of Scripture canāt help but bring joy to my heart.
Iām often reminded of how thousands of believers throughout the world do not have a copy of the Bible to call their own. These Christians truly cherish Godās Word and are overwhelmed with gratitude upon receiving even a small passage of Scripture written down on a piece of paper. And yet many of us are guilty of allowing our Bibles to lay untouched collecting dust.
Friends, please make it a habit to read, study, and memorize Scripture. These God breathed truths can bring such comfort and peace for our weary souls. May we never take His Word for granted.
My hope is that these free Scripture printables will not only be a pretty piece of home dƩcor, but a prompt to turn your thoughts upon His goodness.

Verses For Free Scripture Printables
Below are the Bible verses or passages for the free Scripture printables in their entirety, if you would like to work on memorizing them yourself. Each one of these has helped me in different ways over the years. Godās Word never returns void.
āHe has told you, O man, what is good; andĀ what does theĀ LordĀ require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and toĀ walk humbly with your God?ā (Micah 6:8 ESV)
There have been so many moments in life where Iāve desired to know what Godās will for me was in a particular situation.
I think we often overcomplicate things. His will for us is pretty simple really:
May our actions be just.
May we show mercy to others as weāve been shown mercy.
And may we walk humbly with our God.
āRejoice always,Ā pray without ceasing,Ā give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.āĀ (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Speaking of knowing Godās will for usā¦ we better add these to the list š . If our hearts are so set on praising and praying, thereās little room left for negativity and discouragement.
Bible Verses Of Praise
āPraise theĀ Lord! Oh give thanks to theĀ Lord,Ā for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.ā (Psalm 106:1)
I love how the Psalms are so often filled with praise! Some of these writers suffered greatly and even in the midst of their trials they still chose to praise God for His goodness. How often do we take the time to simply sing a song or pray a prayer of nothing but praise? Without asking God for anything, just thanking Him for who He is?
āOh,Ā taste and see thatĀ theĀ LordĀ is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!ā (Psalm 34:8)
We can never know of the Lordās unexplainable goodness by simply hearing of Him or believing that He exists. We need to taste and see! Each of us was created to know Him intimately and only then will we truly grasp His goodness and faithfulness. Only then we will understand the depth of His love for us.
“The steadfast love of theĀ LordĀ never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are newĀ every morning; great is your faithfulness.āTheĀ LordĀ is my portion,ā says my soul, ātherefore I will hope in him.ā (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Lamentations is overall a heartbreaking and depressing book, and yet squished in between words of despair are these beautiful verses of hope. A reminder that Godās mercies never cease and He alone is worthy of our praise.
āThe heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky aboveĀ proclaims his handiwork.ā (Psalm 19:1)
Godās creation in absolutely breathtaking! I cannot tell you how many times Iāve step outside to enjoy a walk or sunset after a rough day to feel as if a burden has been lifted from my shoulders.
His creation evokes a sense of calm and peace that has a way of nudging me to let go of the unnecessary weight Iāve been carrying around, lay it at his feet, and praise him.
As much as I hope that these free printable Bible verses are an encouragement to you, Iād like to encourage you even more to stay faithful in praying, praising, trusting in Godās goodness, and sharing the hope of Christ with the world around you.
āForĀ God so lovedĀ the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should notĀ perish but have eternal life.Ā ForĀ God did not send his Son into the worldĀ to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.ā (John 3:16-17)
